The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum has three main exhibitions, of which the largest is Dinosaur World. You will find the Fossil Preparation Lab on the second floor of the museum. Technicians will meticulously clean up fossils found at the nearby Kitadani Quarry excavation site for research and exhibition. Visitors can freely observe the technicians working through the window pane.

The museum is open only during the day and last entry time of the day is 4:30 pm. The museum is open daily from the end of July to the end of August and is closed on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month and from December 31 to January 1.
